Service and community rules

1. Scope and service
These rules apply to the shared Lange Donnern account and the services available through it. The service is currently provided free of charge by Martin Lange. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of a particular feature; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
2. Eligibility
Use requires a minimum age of 18, a reachable and verified email address, and acceptance of the current rules. Credentials must not be shared. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported immediately to security@lange-donnern.de.
3. Pseudonym
The global pseudonym contains 3 to 24 characters, starts with a letter and uses only the letters A–Z, digits, underscore or hyphen. It must not infringe third-party rights, impersonate another person, or be abusive, discriminatory or misleading. It can be changed every 30 days; a released pseudonym remains reserved for 180 days.
4. Prohibited use
Prohibited activities include unlawful conduct, harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, malware, automated bulk requests, bypassing access controls, accessing other users’ data, or impairing the platform’s security, availability or integrity. Public user contributions and file uploads are currently not provided.
5. Action in response to violations
Access may be temporarily restricted or blocked in response to a concrete security threat or a material violation of these rules or the law. Where reasonable, the reason and possible remedy will be communicated. Statutory claims and measures required to protect others remain unaffected.
6. Account deletion
Deletion can be requested in the account portal and cancelled for seven days. The central account and connected application data are then deleted. Technically necessary pseudonymous records and encrypted backup snapshots are retained as described in the privacy notice.
7. Changes
Ordinary material changes are announced at least 30 days before taking effect and require renewed acceptance. Urgent changes required by law or a concrete security risk may take effect immediately. Where acceptance is required and not given, platform access ends until the current rules are accepted.
